Birding Sites

Bridgerland Audubon Society visits locations in Box Elder, Cache and Rich counties on the top of Utah. Visit our fieldtrips page for scheduled trips.

The following pages from UtahBirds.org give details about birding sites in these counties:
Box Elder County (Including Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge)
Cache County (Including Cutler Reservoir, Bear River Bottoms, Amalga Barrens)
Rich County (including Bear Lake NWR)
Use care when birding around nesting birds. Flushing birds from a nest can expose the nest to predators and lead to the demise of the eggs or nestlings. Please practice birding Etiquette:
"Principles of Birding Ethics" - American Birding Association
"Birding Ethics" - Audubon Society of New Hampshire
"Birding Etiquette" - Milwaukee County Wisconsin
