Two Canoe Adventures Saturday:
- Paddle across Cutler Marsh, starting at “The Ditch” where the Logan River
enters the Marsh and taking out at the marina on the west side of Valley View
Highway. This entails a shuttle.Meet at 8 a.m. at the Pacificorp boat launch on Valley View Highway (200 North
in Logan) just west of milepost 106 (1/2 mile west of Public Shooting Range,
past 3200 West; 4.7 mi west of Main St.). There is a small parking lot and
portable rest room on the south side of the road.Paddlers must provide their own boats. Canoes can be rented from USU Outdoor
Recreation Program (35% discount for USU students). Participants must wear a
PFD (life jacket); binoculars, water, snacks, hat & sunglasses are

First, we will paddle out-and-back to Cutler Dam on the open waters of Cutler Reservoir for a 7-mile event.
Second trip: navigate a 5.4-mile stretch of the Logan River canoe trail as it flows into Cutler Reservoir from the southeast. Details & registration(required):
