This Utah Master Naturalist Mountains course will take place during the week of July 25-29, 8am-4pm, in Cache Valley in the Logan area. Participants will hike Logan Canyon, Green Canyon, White Pine Lake, and Beaver Mountain while covering topics from geology and ecology to flora and fauna, including elk management and predators as well as forestry, insects, and disease. The program will be taught by Jack Greene from the Bridgerland Audubon Society and other local experts, and includes a service learning project. This is an adult education program that is open to participants 18 years of age and older. Exceptions for younger teens may be made if a parent is also registering for the course.
