Explore the Amalga barrens and other notable Cache county shorebird sites with BAS field trip coordinator Bret Mossman. Meet at 3:00 PM in the parking lot between Caffe Ibis and the Logan fire station (50E 150N, Logan). Carpooling will be available. We will head out to the barrens while stopping at a couple other spots along the way. Plan on spending about 2 hours birding. Bring water, sunglasses, binoculars, a scope, camera, and layers. Expect to see Ibis, stilts, avocets, peeps, and potentially some rarities such as the solitary sandpiper. Contact bret.mosman@aggiemail.usu.edu with any questions.
