Join Megan Dettenmaier, USU Forestry Extension Educator and Helen Muntz, USU Extension Horticulture, along with NRCS, BioWest, and Logan City for a collaborative riparian planting workshop along the Blacksmith Fork River. Everyone is welcome. This event is to assist homeowners living along the Logan River foster a healthy riparian zone. Because the Logan River winds its way through the city from first dam, there are many homeowners that have riparian riverfront property. We will be planting native shrubs and trees. Riparian zone participants will be invited to take shrubs and trees home to plant in their own yards.
