Feline Fix Fund Final Day 1/10/21

Feline Fix Fund Final Day & We are so close to funding 100 free surgeries:
Goal: $5,000
Current: $4,405 (enough to “fix” 88 cats)
Needed: $595 to “fix” a total of 100 cats
Spay/neuter of owned cats is the most efficient use of limited funds for the management and control of cats.***

In Cache Valley the majority of stray cats are lost and abandoned pets. Prior to the City of Logan’s cessation of services for cats in 2019, nearly 400 nuisance cats a year were taken by Logan City Animal Control to the Cache Humane Society where 10% were reunited with their owners and 89% were adopted to new families. The vast majority of the cats adopted to new families required spay/neuter surgery. This is why it is so important to ensure that owned cats receive this service – there’s just too great a chance that they will multiply and many will end up homeless, left to fend for themselves in the wild as an invasive species well-documented to impact birds and other creatures.

Please consider a contribution to the Feline Fix Fund: any amount will help. $50 will ensure one more cat will not contribute to the overpopulation of stray and feral cats in Cache Valley.

All donations are tax deductible and go directly to the Cache Humane Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization:
