April 15, Sustainability and Energy in Utah

The USU Institute of Government and Politics & College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS) presented Sustainability and Energy in Utah a discussion about sustainability policy with
Jon Cox, VP of Government Affairs at Rocky Mountain Power
Thom Carter, Energy Advisor to Governor Cox
Emily Malik, Logan City Sustainability Coordinator

The USU Ecology Center presented Dr. Peter Marra, who is the director of the Georgetown Environment Initiative, Laudato Si’ Professor in Biology and the Environment, and Professor in the McCourt School of Public Policy. Before Georgetown, he had a 20-year career at the Smithsonian Institution, most recently as Director of the Migratory Bird Center.
Wednesday: “Cat Wars: The Devastating Consequences of a Cuddly Killer.”
Thursday: “Unraveling the Mysteries of Bird Migration: Connectivity, Cycles and Technology.”
