Window strikes are a major contributor to bird death and injury leading to death. Many attribute more than a billion bird deaths per year to collisions. Analyze your windows and protect birds who think they are flying to the trees and sky reflected in the window. Remember, even if a bird hits the window, falls, recovers and flies on, it is still injured. It will likely die away from the point of contact.
