Support Bird-Window Strike Prevention Research
Bridgerland Audubon Society supports local research covering a promising method to prevent bird-window strikes.
Bridgerland Audubon Society is underwriting Kim Sullivan and Mark Koven as they work to secure a $10,000 grant from the Tracy Aviary to do a pilot test of using UV projection to reduce bird collisions. The researchers told us ““Surprisingly, no one is working on this. We presented the work at the American Ornithologists Society meeting last month and it was well received. American Bird Conservancy folks were especially interested”
