Bridgerland Audubon Society Activity and Liability Waiver
By registering for a Bridgerland Audubon Society event and participating in said event, I accept the terms of this waiver as binding upon me, my heirs and assigns.
Understanding of Risks: I understand that participating in Bridgerland Audubon Society field trips carries with it various risks. These include but are not limited to:
- Risk of personal injury or death, and damage to or loss of property, while traveling to and from, and participating in the trip, whether from accidents, criminal activity, exertion, animals, terrain, location or any other cause.
- Absence of rescue and medical facilities and expertise.
- Negligence of Bridgerland Audubon, its trip leaders, and anyone else acting on its behalf.
Waiver and Release.
In consideration of my participation in the above mentioned trip, I (or my parent or guardian) state and agree as follows:
I agree that I am participating in the activity at my own risk and acknowledge that Bridgerland Audubon Society has made no warranty or representation, expressed or implied, regarding the safety of this activity.
I agree to waive and release Bridgerland Audubon Society and its officers, directors, field trip leaders and assistants from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damage, costs and expenses resulting from any injury to me during this trip, and/or damage caused by my failure to follow instruction.
I acknowledge and represent that I have read and understand this agreement and I voluntarily accept that I fully intend to be bound by the same. By participating or registering, I acknowledge that I have thoroughly read and understand this form and that the statements I have made are all true. This release shall be binding upon me/us and my/our heirs, next of kin, executors and administrators.
