ECONET Induction Stove Campaign in Utah

RE: Induction Stove Campaign in Utah

My daughter, Victoria, and I are working on promoting the electrification of kitchens. We published the attached article, “Now we’re cooking with electromagnetism: Making induction stoves cool,” where we address the current “culture wars” over gas stoves by blending foodie culture with marketing perspectives to provide a preliminary blueprint on how to make induction stoves a desirable “cool” alternative to gas.

(online link to full article)

We’re now working with Utah Clean Energy, setting the groundwork for a potential outreach campaign to promote induction stoves in Utah, and we’re seeking Utah-based chefs and cooks who use induction and who may be willing to attest to the technology’s effectiveness over gas and possibly serve as spokespersons as the campaign gets underway in the media.

Please contact me at ed.stafford@usu.edu for any contacts or if you’d like more information.

Thanks!
