CBC Date: December 14, 2019: Overcast, cold, snow, wind. 30 people (up from 21), + 1= 31 29 hours 15 mn. (up from 28.55) ; 5 of 27 (19%) homes reported zero birds + 10 = 29 hours 25 minutes: round to 30 hours 20 species (down 5) 798 birds (up from 501) (even if subtract 111 starlings = 687) Unusual species: Gray Partridge (Perdix perdix) (Nancy Messner/Chris Luecke) Also New in 2019 from 2018: Mallard (36), Red-Breasted Nuthatch (3) No Evening Grosbeak (Coccothraustes vespertinus), population reported in decline.
