Dec 1-Mar 17, Bird House Building Contest

Bird House Building Contest
Bird House Building Contest

The Blacksmith Fork Wildlife Association (an affiliate of National Wildlife Federation) is hosting Cache Valley’s first Birdhouse Building Contest.

The purposes of this contest are threefold: to provide nesting sites for wild birds, to improve an area for wild bird habitat, and to highlight the creative building skills of our residents. Nesting boxes and platforms are fine, but use your imagination to create unusual shapes and designs. The contest runs Dec 1-Mar 17.

Houses will be judged during the National Wildlife Week March 17-23, and participants can sell their projects, take them home, or donate them to be placed in Nature Parks. The rules and age groups are found at http://www.nibleycity.com/images/homepage/2014/Bird_House_Contest.pdf
